We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party marketers or data brokers.
Refined FI collects only the information necessary to provide the service:
Email address
Collected when you subscribe to the newsletter or create a membership. Used solely to deliver content you requested and manage your account.
Broad onboarding ranges
Gold+ collects broad ranges such as age, approximate portfolio size, target retirement age, and monthly portfolio need. This information is used to build and restore your Gold+ path and understand which marketing segments Gold+ is reaching. Refined FI does not collect account balances, holdings, or information entered into calculators, portfolio audits, or other planning tools.
Payment information
Processed securely through Stripe for subscription payments. Refined FI does not store your credit card number, CVV, or billing details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
No data brokers. No ad targeting. No third-party data sharing.
Your information exists for one purpose: to deliver the service you signed up for. That's it.
Cookie policy
Refined FI uses a minimal set of cookies, only what's necessary to make the site work. Here's exactly what's set and why:
Session cookies (authentication)
If you're a logged-in member, a session cookie keeps you signed in as you navigate between pages. It expires when you close your browser or after a set period. No persistent tracking.
Stripe cookies (payment processing)
When you interact with a payment form, Stripe sets cookies for fraud prevention and payment security. These are required by Stripe's infrastructure and are subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Analytics cookies (future)
If we add analytics in the future, we'll update this section. Any analytics implementation will be privacy-respecting and clearly disclosed here first.
No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking cookies. No retargeting pixels.
No Facebook pixel, no Google Ads tag, no affiliate tracking scripts. The site doesn't monetize your attention. It monetizes the content.
